First Capital Investment Banking Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “FCIB”) is formerly known as J.P. Morgan First Capital Securities Co., Ltd. (“JPMFC”), which was incorporated in 2011 as a joint venture between First Capital Securities Co., Ltd. (“First Capital”) and J.P. Morgan. The Beijing Branch of the China Securities Regulatory Commission issued a no objection letter on July 3, 2017 regarding the equity transfer that J.P. Morgan to transfer the entire 33.3% equity interests held by it in JPMFC to First Capital. The name of JPMFC changed to FCIB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Capital. There are totally two branches of FCIB which are FCIB Shanghai branch and FCIB Shenzhen branch.
